Very nice. Are those books organized by color? Shouldn’t they be judged by the content of their pages and not the color of their jackets?

The shelves aren’t wall-mounted, Bengo. The brackets on the shelves go into standards which in turn go into little feet that sit on the floor and bear the weight, which you can see more clearly in the 4th photo. They’re stabilized with a couple of screws going into a couple studs in the wall, but that’s just to make them earthquake-safe, not to bear the weight of those books. Believe-a you me, I wouldn’t have tried to mount a couple hundred lbs of books onto our crumbling apartment walls.
